Volunteer Opportunities

"It's a crime when children are abused;
it's a shame when we don't do more to help them."

We are always looking for friendly, energetic and motivated volunteers who are interested in helping with our Children's Advocacy Center. There are many opportunities to suit different skills and abilities:

Volunteer Coordinator
Recruit volunteers and manage daily volunteer duties and events

Office Assistant
Assist with office work, client follow-up, sheduling, filing, data entry, and other projects

Event Aid
Organize materials and represent Kids House at community events

Grant Writer
Assist Kids House staff in grant writing, research and funding opportunities

Child Care Assistant
Play with children 0-4 years old in Kids House playroom during Nurturing Parenting Classes

Facility Manager
Check in weekly on items needing attention, Minor plumbing / painting jobs, Small Maintence jobs, Determine need for larger repair jobs requiring outside help

Green Thumbs
Assist in the lawn beautification of Kids House property

Webmaster
Update and maintain Kids House website
