In-Kind Support

Kids House is planning our Back to School Splash for August 2010. The Back to School backpack drive is an outreach event to help meet the basic needs of the children in our community. Honorary Gifts

Recognizing special milestones in the lives of those closest to you (anniversaries, birthdays, weddings, or even holidays etc.) are a great way to pay tribute to someone special while supporting Kids House of Seminole, Inc. Pledges allow donors to make ongoing gifts over a period of months or years. Payment schedules are flexible. Stocks & Securities

To make a gift of stock, securities, bonds or mutual funds, please contact Marcie Dearth, Development Director at (407) 324-3036 x 237. If you currently work with a broker, please instruct them to transfer your gift to Kids House using the electronic transfer details on the Stock Gifts Form.

 

Employer Matching Gifts

Many employers match gifts made to qualified charitable organizations. Ask your personnel department or human resources office at your workplace for more information. If your company participates, complete your employers matching gift form and forward it along with your gift to Kids House. We will complete all necessary paperwork and finalize processing.

 

Planned Gifts & Bequests

Planned giving ensures the services and programs of our Children’s Advocacy Center will remain available to every child who needs us. This method of giving also provides significant advantages such as tax breaks. Memorial Gifts

A memorial donation offers a thoughtful, caring way to remember someone special while supporting the fight against child abuse.

In-Kind Support

You can support Kids House of Seminole with the direct donation of equipment, supplies, or other items. As the seasons change so do our needs, so please check back often! The following are items that would benefit Kids House and the families we serve:

  • School supplies (crayons, notebook paper, binders, backpacks…etc.)
  • Emergency fund for families in crisis
  • Newer release kids DVD’s (rated G or PG)
  • Gameboy system and/or Nintendo DS System & games
  • Batteries (especially AA)
  • Snacks and healthy treats for children in individually wrapped packages
  • Elmer’s glue, drawing paper, water color paints, play sand & playdough
  • Tissues, paper towels, Clorox wipes and Lysol spray
  • Plastic toy microwaves and other play-kitchen items
  • Office supplies (copy paper, legal pads, pens, manila folders…etc.)
  • Training for staff
  • Clothing, underwear and shoes for school-age children (grades K—12)
  • Toiletries (toothpaste, shampoo…etc.)
  • Scholarships to daycare, school, after school programs and college
  • Pacifiers & teethers (brand new in package)
  • Gift cards are easy to collect and greatly help our clients. As a service project, consider urging your class or group to each bring in a gift card from one of the following places: * Gas cards * Grocery stores * Discount retailers like Walmart and/or Target * Babies R Us * Phone cards for pre-paid phones *
