Ways to Volunteer
Volunteers are our helping hands and are integral to the work we do. They are critical to our mission and allow us to achieve so much around Kids House and throughout the community. Volunteers provide needed services that include assistance with fundraising events, community outreach, and administrative work. We are always looking for friendly, energetic, and motivated volunteers interested in getting involved with our organization. There may be volunteer opportunities to suit a variety of different skills and interests.
In-Office Volunteer
Helpers are sometimes needed around Kids House to assist with numerous administrative tasks. Data entry, filing, and special projects are the focus on these volunteer assignments.
Maintenance Volunteer
It takes a lot of hard work to keep our facility in good shape. We are always looking for handy individuals interested in coming to lend a hand. Maintenance projects include changing light bulbs, cleaning the gutters, etc.
Kids House Event Volunteer
Throughout the year, Kids House hosts events for the children and families we serve. These events include our Back to School Skate and Holiday Party. Volunteers are needed to help decorate, prepare materials, and make these events extra special and lots of fun for every child who attends.
Community Event Volunteer
Kids House gets invited to participate in various events throughout the community. We often need volunteers to help staff the booths at these events, represent Kids House, pass out information, and interact with event participants.
Faith's Garden Volunteer
Named in honor of a 3-year-old girl who died due to child abuse, Faith's Garden is a tranquil, peaceful place of reflection and contemplation for those affected by child abuse and neglect. It takes a village and a green thumb to maintain Faith's Garden, so Kids House relies on our volunteers to help keep Faith's Garden beautiful.
