Ways to Give
Thank you for your investment in Kids House. Together, we offer help, hope, and healing to abused or neglected children and their families. Charitable gifts are as individual as the people who make them. We have many ways to give, each offers you the opportunity to align with your values, take advantage of tax-smart strategies, and make the meaningful and lasting impact you wish to make. Whether you are providing for children’s basic needs today, or helping sustain our programs for future generations, your generous investment makes a difference in the lives of every child we serve.
Your gifts of cash or check make an immediate impact on the lives of the children and families we serve. Cash gifts can easily and securely be made at our office. If you prefer to write a check, please make it payable to Kids House. Our office address where you can visit or mail your check is 5467 N Ronald Reagan Blvd, Sanford, FL 32773.
Your online gifts make an immediate and sustainable impact on the lives of the children and families we serve. You can make a secure, one-time gift, or set up a recurring payment via credit card.
Our monthly, quarterly, or annual donors are our Kids House Heroes. These heroes provide steady, reliable support for our programs and are an ongoing commitment to children. Recurring donors are dedicated, strategic, and make our work at Kids House sustainable.
Donor-advised funds (DAFs) can be thought of as a charitable investment account that supports Kids House. DAFs are the fastest growing charitable giving vehicle allowing individuals to contribute cash, stocks, or other assets into an investment which can provide an immediate tax benefit and grow through investments. You can recommend a grant with your DAF sponsoring organization to Kids House of Seminole, Inc. EIN 59-3415005, 5467 N Ronald Reagan Blvd, Sanford, FL 32773. Please be sure to notify Melissa Winstead once you have made the recommendation to ensure we are able to thank you properly.
Charitable distributions from retirement accounts support our mission to prevent child abuse and to aid child abuse victims and families. Individuals 70 ½ or older may give a gift from their IRA as a QCD (Qualified Charitable Distribution) or RMD (Required Minimum Distribution) to a qualified charity like Kids House. These types of contributions can lower your taxable income. Click here to view an IRA Sample Letter of Instruction. Consult your tax or financial advisor regarding your specific situation.
An endowment fund provides a lasting gift as a source of annual and perpetual income. Endowments can be established with a minimum gift of $10,000, with a one-time donation of cash or appreciated assets, or a pledge of recurring or planned gifts, or through a collective initiative. The amount donated is invested and forms the principal which is endowed to ensure sustainability of the programs supporting abused or neglected children in our community. Earnings from the investments are eligible for annual distributions.
Employer matching gift programs allow you to team up and combine your employee benefit and your donation to Kids House to make a greater impact. Check to see if your employer matches gifts, review the matching gift instructions, make your donation, and submit your match request to your employer.
You can name Kids House of Seminole, Inc. as a beneficiary of your bank accounts, investment accounts, life insurance policies, donor advised fund, retirement accounts, (including Roth IRAs, 401ks and 403bs and other pension plans). Beneficiary designations are legacy gifts serving the children and families we serve and the ongoing work of Kids House. To learn more about legacy gifts visit our Promise to Protect Society page.

Seasonal In-Kind drives include Back-to-School Supplies, Thanksgiving Food Baskets and Holiday Toy Drive.
Each year, Kids House hosts two signature events that raise vital awareness, friends and funds to combat child abuse and neglect in Central Florida. While each event is unique, both highlight the critical programs we provide at Kids House and support our mission of preventing child abuse and aiding child abuse victims and families by providing coordinated services in a safe, child-friendly environment from report and investigation through treatment and resolution. Join us in making a difference, one event at a time. Annual Sporting Clay Shoot and Annual Kids House Gala.
Memorial and tribute gifts offer a meaningful way to celebrate life’s special moments or honor the memory of someone dear. Tribute gifts can mark birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, graduations, or other important milestones. A memorial gift serves as a lasting tribute, helping your loved one’s legacy live on through support that makes a real difference for others. Your thoughtful contribution not only honors someone special but also brings comfort, hope, and care to the children we serve.
