About the Kids House Clubhouse

Historically, the Kids House Clubhouse was born as a place where Child Advocates can house our physical resources for families, such as clothing, essential toiletries, comfort items, and parenting and prevention education resources. Several Rotary Clubs in Seminole County originally built the Clubhouse for us. It served us for many years, but in 2015, it was deemed inoperable due to black mold and could not be repaired. In 2021, then Child Advocate Program Director Patrick Van Dyke took on the task of seeking out assistance to rebuild the Clubhouse. With the amazing help of our Kids House Board members, The Truist Foundation, Wharton-Smith, Inc., and Charles Mead, Inc., we rebuilt the Clubhouse. The project was finished in 2023 but we have not been able to fully stock it.
